Do you provide an authenticity service/certificate?

Yes. We provide a Selections by Sophia in-house Certificate of Authenticity with all purchases. Each certificate is specific to the individual item and forms part of our commitment to transparency and customer confidence.

Every item offered by Selections by Sophia undergoes a thorough inspection and in-house authentication process conducted by our team and trusted authentication partners, using established authentication practices and industry knowledge.

Based on our assessment and the information available at the time of review, each item is determined to be authentic and is described as accurately as possible. 

Additional Assurance & Third-Party Authentication Services

  • For additional assurance, upon request, for a one-off fee (not included in the listed item cost), an authenticity certificate can be provided from an independent third-party provider. Please reach out for more information. 

What type of payment methods do you offer?

  • All our prices are listed in AUD.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

  • At this time, we do not accept refunds or exchanges, so we kindly ask that you review all photos and product descriptions carefully before making a purchase.
  • We make every effort to accurately represent each item, including detailed images and descriptions of any wear or imperfections.
  • Additional images can be provided upon request before payment is finalised. 

Exceptions:

  • If you receive an item with damage not clearly shown in photos or described in the listing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can evaluate the situation. Please ensure any and all tags are not removed from the item. 
  • Thank you for understanding and supporting responsible luxury resale.


Shipping

  • Upon confirmation of payment, all items will be shipped within 1-2 business days.
  • A confirmation email and tracking details will be provided once shipped. 
  • We offer standard and express shipping that includes: tracking, insurance and signature on delivery. 

Rates:

  • Orders over $1000 AUD will have free shipping that will include free standard tracking, insurance and signature on delivery
  • Please note, this is only for items we have in stock in Australia. 
  • Shipping rates for any items sourced from our Personal Shopping service will be calculated separately. 

Condition Grading Guide

Each item is individually inspected and assigned a condition grade to ensure full transparency

A+ (Like New)

  • Unused or worn once.
  • No signs of wear.
  • May include original packaging or tags.

A (Excellent)

  • Lightly used with almost no visible flaws.
  • No major scuffs, scratches, or damage.
  • Maintains original structure and appearance.

B (Very Good)

  • Gently used with minor signs of wear (e.g. light scratches, softening, faint marks).
  • Overall in great condition.

C (Good)

  • Visible signs of wear, such as rubbing, patina, or faded hardware.
  • Still fully functional and stylish.

D (Fair / Vintage Character)

  • Noticeable wear and imperfections.
  • May include interior stains, surface cracks, or worn corners.
  • Ideal for vintage lovers who appreciate charm and history. Priced accordingly.
